A bit before the Halloween season of 2023, Zombie Army Productions had the incredible opportunity to attend a Movement for Actors Class at HellsGate Haunted House taught by none other than the inimitable, inestimable Doug Jones, creature actor extraordinaire who you may know as Saru from Star Trek: Discovery, the Pale Man/Faun from Pan’s Labyrinth, the creature from Shape of Water and too many other iconic characters to list here. Watch as John LaFlamboy and Doug discuss the unique challenges that come with acting in a haunted attraction, and enjoy highlights from Doug’s class. After spending an evening with such a warm, inclusive, kind and talented man, the Zombie Army can collectively say “We dig Doug!”
