Days of the Living Dead Season 2021, Episode 2
You may (or may not) recall a DOTLD episode from a couple of years ago titled “Mystery Soup” where the Zombie Army purchased a massive number of props from a Chicago production company and figured out ways to work them into HellsGate Haunted House. In 2020, friend of the Zombie Army (and all around great guy) Steve, owner of the now-defunct Dr. Scary’s Haunted House (Wisconsin), let the Army come and retrieve the contents of Dr. Scary’s. In 2021, the Army got to unload the trucks, and a magical mystery treasure hunt adventure ensues! Some stuff is great right off the truck, but even things that have seen better days get a chance at a new life… well, so to speak. Watch how the team takes garbage and spins it into gold!

Days of the Living Dead Season 2021, Episode 1
As we all know, 2020 did not see HellsGate or Statesville open and, as a result, there was no 2020 season of Days of the Living Dead. But as John puts it: “We survived 2020 so that we could thrive in 2021.” The Zombie Army is BACK and ready to scare this October! Check in with John & the Crew to see how 2020 broke their hearts, only to strengthen their resolve to put on KILLER shows in 2021!

HelLEGOsGate Haunted House | Days of the Living Dead 2020
This year has been weird and sometimes scary. People all over the world were stuck at home with lots of extra free time and we’ve all dealt with it as best we can.
For 138 hours over the course of 12 days in April 2020, John LaFlamboy, Owner and Producer of Zombie Army Productions and HellsGate Haunted House, sank DEEP into a LEGO shaped hole. Washing and sorting tens of thousands of pieces by hand, LEGOs entirely from his pre-existing personal collection! He re-created, completely from memory (seriously he didn’t even have to call Kyle for specs or nothin’!) a scale replica of HellsGate Haunted House, where 1’ = 1 block.
The results are remarkable, even though the process was… inconvenient for others stuck in quarantine with him and his madness.
Days of the Living Dead | Season 2019 Episode 2 | Mystery Soup: “Building” HellsGate
The pressure is on right out of the gate in 2019 as HellsGate Haunted House prepares to be the headliner of the Midwest Haunters Convention 2019 Haunted House Tour… in June! With only a few months to execute the seasonal build so it’s ready for the tour, and with a MASSIVE number of props on hand thanks to a prop company’s Going Out of Business Sale, John changes up his approach. Instead of conceiving rooms and buying the props to bring them to life, it becomes like a cooking show – take all these ingredients and turn them into something amazing! Top it all off with finishing touches from TransWorld’s Halloween & Attractions Show and HellsGate’s dressed to impress at MHC and during the upcoming Halloween Season! #MysterySoup2019
WASTED at Legacy Adventure Park
The Zombie Army opened Legacy Adventure Park to rousing success in 2018; now, in the spring of 2019, they’ve challenged themselves to build WASTELAND, a post apocalyptic paintball field like nothing the sport has ever seen. Up against a winter that overstayed its welcome, can the crew (with the help of Kenny’s sweet dance moves) get the new field ready in time for opening day? Watch to find out!
